Malutizicht Lodge
Malutizicht Lodge offers self-catering accommodation on a privately owned estate, nestled below massive sandstone cliffs in the Witteberge between Ficksburg and Fouriesburg in the Eastern Free State Highlands.
Accommodation is offered in 3 freestanding self-catering units, namely the Stone House, Cottage and Chalet. All 3 units are air-conditioned and have en-suite bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a living area with a fireplace and spacious verandahs, as well as free Wifi. Guests have access to shared facilities at the lodge, such as braai facilities and the indoor heated pool.
The lodge offers a variety of walking trails, several scenic mountain bike routes, and fishing for trout, black bass and carp in three large dams. Avid bird watchers can enjoy the variety of bird species that live in the beautiful indigenous kloofs, which can be accessed by foot or via 4×4 vehicles. Secure parking is also available on the premises.
The lodge is conveniently situated within close proximity to the Caledonspoort and Ficksburg border posts for guests who want to make day trips to Lesotho.
